Find Your Style

"Find Your Style" - I LOVE this show -- check out their website & find your own personal decorating style. For those of you who know me well, decorating is something I absolutely love. I took the 'quiz' and my results were spot on! -- **Traditional elegance meets modern lines**

Here are a couple shots of our living room (dressed for spring/summer).

Check out the show -- and have fun! http://www.hgtv.com/hgtv/shows_hfys

The Proud Gramma

This is the best pic yet of me & Leo --- the only thing better would be if Grampa was in it too!

Love you Grampa Ken XOXOOXXXXX

Leo's 1st Visit with RaRa's 'kids'!

Well, it was inevitable, Leo had to be introduced to the 'kids'. If you check out Rachel's blog, you'll see her post about the puppies (I use that word in the loosest sense of the word!)

We had Sunday family dinner with Trevor's extended family & all the dogs were there. Rachel & Trev have PigE (the black English Staffie) & the newest member of their family, Heffe (the white French bulldog). Heffe's pretty much a handfull --- just like a toddler - into EVERYTHING! Like Rachel says "who needs kids when you've got Heffe?" PigE keeps him under control tho.

Leo's Mommy & Daddy Too!

Couldn't wait to show you this precious little family! I loved every minute of my time with them --- they put up with me even when I'm cranky & missing grampa~

Our Best Easter Bunny Ever

I know Jenna posted this pic on her blog, but hey, I'M entitled too!
I think Sam isn't so thrilled with the PINK bunny ears, but then again, I've never seen bunnies with blue ears. Sam, I promise we won't do this to Leo when he's 15!

I'mmmm BAAAAAAAAAACKKKKKKKKK!

Well, sadly, my few weeks with Leo, and oh yeah, his mommy & daddy & auntie, are over. What an amazing 4 weeks. Being a grandparent allows you to relish every moment (even the not so cute ones!) It was amazing to me to see Leo change literally overnight. One week he's interested in hands, the next week feet. I think the coolest thing about the whole month was that from the beginning I sang to him & (of course) he loved it. By the end of the month it had become kind of like our own little 'language'. He would just 'zero in' on whenever & whatever I would sing to him...... his personal fav? 1 little, 2 little, 3 little Indians!!! Makes him laugh everytime! Brings back LOTS of memories of my girls and how music became such a big part of their lives -- I hope it's the same for Leo. His daddy & I had an evening last week where we just stood together over Leo's crib & sang songs together to him ...... does Leo have a cool Dad or what?!
